use 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood sandwiched together cut a regular rafter then lay it on the ply wood mark it out then take your chalk line and pencil use about four times the length of the rafter in string and form your radius it might take a couple times to get the start and finsh to end up where it should be but just keep swing the line back and forth and when you find the right length mark it out then use your patern to lay out the rest of them If its a small roof and lots of radius you will have to lay up the decking with 1/4 [ply wood and lots of nails (roofing nails work best because the heads dont pull through) about every 6 inches to get the curve to lay down. I think thats what your talking about. If your talking about just the tails for exposed tails on like a gazebo or something then Just draw a design on one and then jigsaw it and trace to the next.
