Whenever i turn the garden hose on from the outside of my house, the inside of my house makes an awful sound, like a dying animal moan. It sounds awful. Also, only 1 bathroom toilet makes a loud hammer sound when the toilet gets done flushing. Any ideas, are these problems related?

Any one here a law student or a property owner that has some insight into the laws concerning trees?

If it were not for my neighbors tree, my yard would be clutter and crap free. He just rang my bell and complained about my pool this morning and I have never once complained about his tree raining sap and leaves and branches all over my yard. I assumed we had an understanding to each look the other way and compromise, but I guess not?

1. Can I legally cut down what hangs over my driveway?
2. Does he have the right to allow HIS tree to litter my yard?
3. Is is his responsability to clean it up or mine?

We are in Florida...

Thanks in advance!

I won't go into details, but I have blood stains on some of my clothes and bedsheets. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on how to get them out.

They are about 20 years old and haven't really been taken care of in those 20 years. I know that they are expensive (and even more valuable when they are 20 years old and as big and healthy as they are) but they are located in 2 seperate flower beds in front of my house and they are so big that they are resting against the house and blocking the windows. I don't want to lose the trees by pruning them incorrectly and killing them. They are beautiful trees they're just too big. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I have recently purchased a new electric shower. It works fine when it's above head height but if I lower it to fill the wash basin it starts to run cold. The rate of flow doesn't slow down (it's a mains shower) and I can think of no reason why this should happen. Any Ideas anyone?

I've heard that stuffing the drawer with crumpled newspaper helps. Maybe a box of baking soda? I had to rewash a shirt but sweaters
are not so easily deodorized and smell like Grandpa's closet.

We purchased a matched set, box springs and mattress, less than two years ago and now the mattress is sagging. It was not an inexpensive set and now they will give us a prorated amount of money for a new set. Can I keep my box spring and just get a new mattress?

I have a 3 bed victorian semi on the outskirts of gloucester city. it has living room, seperate dining room, huge kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 utility toilet room, partially converted attic room, 60ft private rear garden with gated side access(already improved all it can be). we have gas central heating, and double glazing already. there is not room available for garage - on road parking only. What improvement is likely to increase my house price the most?????
