That all depends on the height of your room. You should make sure it is higher than the tallest person that will be walking under it/cleaning it. 6’ 6” or higher.

ceiling height should me minimum 10 feet high so that the chandelier doesn't hang too low........ it should 8 feet from the floor higher if possible.
