I asked yesterday about how to find a buried power cable in my garden. The solution seems to be to use a Cable Avoidance Tool. My electrician says a cable has to be live in order to detect it (my cable isn't connected yet). Is this true? I thought you might be able to either send a signal down the wire to find it or just to find the wire using a metal detector.

I've tried a plunger and a snake. It's better, but still running slowly. I can't go to the store to get a drain cleaner because I'm home with a sick child (hense the clogged toilet!)

Thanks

Um, so yeah...I accidentally flushed a pen (don't ask how) down the toilet, and now it's kinda clogged. Is there any way to fix it without calling in an expert?

This happens every time I buy a navy coat.
It does eventually fade.
I like this colour.
No matter how good the quality, or how expensive the coat, this still happens.
Is there any speedy way to get rid of the problem, as it makes shirt collars look dirty after a while.

I know it's not a load bearing wall and don't see why I should need permission but don't want any nasty shocks if I sell and it's picked up on the survey!!

I'm looking for labels for a herb garden, they don't necessarily need to be labeled already. I can't seem to find them. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks.

I'm trying to do cosmetic repair to a goat shed that has only a couple of years' life left. The goats eat the paint off the shed (any type of paint). I'm thinking about stuccoing it, but I don't know if I can just slap some stucco directly on the old plywood. I live in the middle of Arizona, where temps get to 120, if that makes a difference. Any thoughts? Again, I'm just looking to make the thing look slightly less unsightly/trashy until I am forced to tear it down.
