Um, so yeah...I accidentally flushed a pen (don't ask how) down the toilet, and now it's kinda clogged. Is there any way to fix it without calling in an expert?

A toilet auger may work in this case.....it's a short cable that will go the length of your toilet and it has a coiled spring on the end of it......that spring may grab the pen and pull it back if your lucky....if not then the toilet will have to be pulled off the floor and flipped to get it out.....I highly recommend a professional in this matter......good luck

Likely it is caught in the S curve of the toilet. You can reach in there and try and grab it or go rent a "snake" at the hardware or DIY store. Otherwise, turn off the water to the toilet. flush to remove the water in the tank, unbolt it from the floor and pick it up. You need a few towels for the water that will spill cause there is always a bit in the S curve. You will also need to get a new wax ring for the toilet when you put it back. Don't try and reuse the old one, you will get water leaking for sure.

reach in and grab it!

if that doesn't work, take a metal hanger and open it up and try to hook the pen and allow it to fall to the btm and pic it out.
