I found what you are looking for at a paneling factory warehouse. It is plyboard with the look of tile and grout. Also seen it at home improvement centers.

Ask your local flooring company - look in the Yellow Pages. There are so many sort of tiles but I have not heard of one on a type of hardboard. Do you mean a sheet vinyl? Anyone like the Carpet Warehouse or similar should be able to show you samples of cushion floors that will have a tiled pattern. If you are looking for something a bit better, there are vinyl tiles that look like ceramic tiles. Try www.karndean.com or www.amtico,com or www.polyflor.com. I see that linoleum (lino) was mentioned by a previous respondent. I have never seen a lino (Marmoleum, Marmorette) that has a tile pattern. Try putting Forbo-Nairn into your search engine. Armstrong to the Marmorette but I find their website less than friendly to use. I do understand why the respondent suggested the lino, though, as it has a hessian back and is pretty stiff. If you are an amateur then it is not wise to try and fit it yourself.
Give me some more information and I can probably direct you to the right material. I am a buyer for a flooring contractor!

Lowes or home depot, they have the peel and stick kind that you place down one tile at a time. They have a 3- 6 year and some a lifetime warranty for wear and tear.

Any store like Home Depot or Lowes. Look in the kitchen & bath sections, or paneling section.

Linoleum I think is what you're talking about. Any home improvement store should carry it.
Usually comes in a roll and has a tile or other patten on it.

Lowes & Home Depot. I think they are more geared towards bathroom usage, but you could use them in the kitchen...
