Purchased new condo and want to do a walk through b/4 signing off. What things/conditions should one look at, look for,? Thanks

Check the flooring !!! I had a huge sub floor problem that they covered with a sofa.Check all lights, bring a small cheap outlet tester with you if you can ... I leaned the hard way that NONE of my bathroom outlets worked.
Check and run all water sources, Flush toilets, run the shower.make sure all the drains are running and water is not backing up in the shower/tub/sinks .Look under bath and kitchen cabinet for leak/ drips. Make sure all contractually included items are present and working. If they left you an AC make sure it works too ! Check all the appliances.
Check out the ceilings and walls for damage.

Everything, check the lights, turn the water on and off, check for leaks, dings in the wall, spots on the carpet. tears in vinyl flooring or cracks in ceramic tile. The major things you will want them to fix right away, any minor things can be fixed after closing.

flush the toliets and turn all the faucets on, both hot and cold, including bath tubs/showers. Make sure all the lights turn on. Check out the plug ins to see if there is power.
Look at the ceiling - do you see any water spots that weren't there before? If there are appliances, turn them on.

Make sure the place is in the same condition that is was the first time you saw it. i.e. paint, walls, carpets, appliances etc. etc. Just make sure the place hasn't been trashed out.

if its not falling apart and it looks fine i think its ok.
