I am receiving a lot of mail for the previous owner of our house as they have obviously failed to redirect their mail.

I don't have their forwarding address - what should I do with this to get it to them?

Right now, my fire alarms are going off once every 10 minutes. I have checked my entire house, nothing is on fire. What the heck is going on and who do I call to stop it? Keep in mind, its almost 11pm local time.

Does anyone know a good site for coupons? I don't mean those sites where you have to sign up for everything under the sun, I mean true coupons for groceries and such.

I saw them in a shop in Las Vegas. They are electric, and there were a set of six in a small bowl that had a light and the water bubbled up around the light. They are a patio display.
Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to know how to take cuttings and preserve geraniums over winter so that in spring they can be replanted....I live in Great Britain, so the climate & weather considerations for this issue are relevant for this query.

These little portable propane heaters can be used with a 20 gal tank -- is this the same system we would use on our portable gas grills?

Our grout was originally white, and we purchased it from a tile place that is no longer in business. Our tile runs from the base of the shower to the ceiling. Most of the grout is OK.

After years of cleaning and fighting back mold with bleach applications, I've discovered that the grout in areas that received the heaviest bleach treatments have become rough, and pitted -- ugly. The worst part is some of the grout around the tiles closer to the floor. The grouting is progressively better looking the higher up the wall you look.

My husband and I have a large 2 bedroom apartment in Hoboken (near NYC). He has had his housekeeper for years, and she has been cleaning our current apartment for 3 years before I moved in. We pay her $100 per week - she comes once a week and does a fabulous job. Since we pay her a lot already, we decided that we wouldn't raise her pay (and she hasn't asked for a raise either) and instead just give her a bigger bonus. There really isn't that much more work for her to do since I have moved in - I do quite a bit of the day-to-day cleaning myself.

Does this sound okay, or should we consider giving her a raise, perhaps next year? How much of a bonus should we give? We were thinking about doubling what is usually given, or perhaps give her a couple of extra bonuses throughout the year.

i have two huge trees in my yard. the big branches are being killed and they are falling off. i notice alot of sawdust looking wood on the ground underneath the trees and big ants crawling up the trees. my brother said the ants are eating it and will eventually kill my trees.
my question is.....is there anything i can do to kill the ants on my own? (with something i can buy at the store?)
thank you very much!

I have some flowers that come up every fall. I have no idea what kind they are. They resemble a lily. There are just a few of them. There is more of them each year. They don't stay long and never blossom during the spring. Can anybody help me find a site that can help me figure out what they are?

I own one (indoor) plant. I've heard that it's good to talk to your plants. Is this true? And what am I supposed to talk to a plant about exactly?

We have just had a bunch of new doors and windows fitted and managed to get rid of most of the protection. However there are some area's where the packaging tape has left some of that annoying sticky gunk behind. Anyone got a miracle cure for removing it or is it just elbow grease and patience required.
