I want to try and strip all the paint off so I can then stain and varnish the wood for a natural finish.

The 20watt energy saving bulb emits light equivalent to a standard 100watt bulb. At present I am using a 15watt energy saving bulb, with emits light equivalent to a 75watt standard bulb, but really would like to be able to have a brighter light.

I know I'm a pack rat. But, with all of my crafts and hobbies, I've got ALOT of stuff. Plus, clothes, keepsakes, many cats, 3 large dogs, and 2 kids who've inherited the pack rat gene. I know it would be best to go through everything before I move it and get really organized and throw out stuff, but I just don't think I'm up to it. My husband died tragicaly 4 months ago, and, due to the circumstances, I thinks it's best that I get the kids and me into our new home. The new place isn't that far away, and in fact, my kids are already attending school there, and the traveling back and forth twice a day is another reason I need to go ahead and get us over there. I thought about hiring someone to come in and help me pack up, but with my recent very painful loss, I have to admit I've let the house go alot, and I'd really be embarassed. Moving is difficult anyway, but with 18 years accumulated, and probably a good bit of depression, I just don't have any idea how to even start.

There's a house in the neighborhood I desperately want to live in, it's the right size and it's in my price range (while most are WAY too expensive), but it's got a VERY (VERY!!!) tiny kitchen that would be tough (and expensive) to add onto with the roofline, and REALLY dated decor (because it's an old couple moving out.)

Should I buy it anyway??

They're tiny, varying around the size of a comma (,) ... They're white-tan or brown, I dunno where they're coming from.
I find them randomly on papers, on the side of closed books (the paper part), or on a flat surface with a nearby lamp. There aren't a lot of them but they're consistent; several scattered on the paper sometimes.

I could just use some RAID but I'd like to know what they do, how they get there, and how I can stop them from coming.

So if anyone has any info on these bugs, that would be nice :)

Is there anything I can add to the water in my washing machine to soften the water?

Lately, after doing the wash, mysterious stains have been showing up on my clothes. They look like grease stains. I have tried some things, but it seems after going through the wash and then being dried it doesn't want to come out. Does any one have a good suggestion?
