Living here now!
It was a nice area when I moved here and now there are drug dealers everywhere, there are murders and other violent crimes on the up. Kids just want to wreak things because they have bugger all else to do and the police are over stretched and cannot cope. I plan on moving with in the year!

I lived in the north west area of Detroit Mi for a little over a year and after one of my friends was robbed at gun point when exiting his car while in the parking lot of the apartment complex, all of my friends and family stopped visiting me, and the worst part of it was the fact that the police took over 5 hrs to get to my apartment after making the initial phone call to them minutes after the robbery:(

Where I live now.

You'd think it was idylic. In the country, 7 acre garden.

But we are surrounded by people and community groups who think they can tell us, and the area, what to do. It was much better being anonymous in the city,

I ONCE WAS MARRIED to a GEORDIE...met her in las vegas and took her to the north of england..a small village called SEGHILL...it was 1970 and the colleries (coal mines) were still mining coal from the bowels of the earth...The dialect they spoke in SEGHILL was like pigeon english and they talked like they were on speed...anyhow, it was dead of winter and no heat in the bedrooms..the windows frosted on th inside...and the MOTHER -IN -LAW FROM HELL looked at me liked i was the DEVIL. She tried to touch my private parts when my wife was in the next room....the telly(t.v.) only had 3 channels bbc-1 bbc-2 and tyne tees television...the only form of transport was an old ww2 type double decker bus which ran thru the village and belched black soot from the exhaust...the whole village burned coal and the air smelled of sulphur and burnt hair......need i go on??? OK, this was the worst place i ever lived...i got very religious and prayed alot...my prayers were answered when my dear wife and her mother were run over by that ww2 double decker bus as it swerved to miss a bird in the road....the driver was given an award by the bird society for saving a injured bird and the deaths of my wife and her mother were cited as "an act of GOD" The total redemption came when the insurance policy i took out at the airport paid me over $500,000 for a double indemnity clause of accidental death. aaarrgghhh aaarghhhh aaargghhh...

In a flat where it was so damp all our clothes had mildew on them in the wardrobe and the landlord had his shop below wired into our electric meter, when we finally realised what was going on we beat a hasty exit!!!
