Does anyone have recomendations on how to build life sized halloween decorations? For years we have been building figures out of wire frames and putting clothes on them but we are looking for a better way, so they can have more shape then the wire allows, like a horse. We thought of paper maiche but that would ruin while outdoors.

Is there any thing we can use to harden farbic, like burlap, around a frame? Perferably something that isnt very expensive...

i was wondering what was in them bc today i was listening to a stereo and there was 4 AA batteries in it and i heard a huge pop and found out that for some reason one of the batteris had exploded. why would it do that and what was the gray liquid substance that was all over the stereo bc of the battery exploding, could it have been mercury, and if so i thought they didnt make batteries with that anymore. could someone answer these questions for me please because i want to know what it was and how to prevent it from happening ever again.

Every time I put in new caulking or grout and give it the suggested time to dry it still begins washing off with the first shower. Is there anything else I can use or a specific brand that will cure even if the surface is still wet? I think water is leaking a little from behind the wall, but don't have the funds to have it torn out and fixed at this time.

When I comb or brush my long hair in the morning, a normal amount comes off on the comb or brush. I usually pull it off and flick it into the toilet instead of the trash can. Is this bad for the plumbing?

I have potted perennials and dearly love them. Since I cannot put them in the earth, can I mulch them heavily or maybe put them between bales of straw to keep them alive? There are azaleas, bergenia, tulips, etc.
