There has been a water leak identified between our house and the water meter, most probably at the meter end. If the pipe needs to be replaced can I make a claim through the new buildings certificate? Our house is 8 years old, we have only been here for 4 of those, I do not have a copy of the certificate, how would I go about getting a copy? and who is responsible?

There are a whole bunch of Walnut tree around my house and they are dropping the little green balls with the walnuts in them. They keep dropping them on the roof of the house and a few have hit the car-which is now housed in the garage. When will they stop dropping the nut? How much longer to I have to look forward to the *ping**ping**thump* of the walnuts hitting the house and the ground? Sometimes it sounds like somone is trying to break into the house. Gets kinda creepy.

It said it in the label "turn off all ignition sources such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves). I live in a apartment so how do I do this? And when you using the fogger in bedroom would it be wise the cover the beds or furniture?

Sadly, things are not going well. I've tried red pepper powder once, crushed Thai chili powder once, and a herb tea type mix of vinegar and chili twice. After all that, get this, this morning there was a huge puddle of pee at the corner of the step. Plus, the French guys from the shop across the street were laughing and saying, "The American's going to be angry". They obviously think that I'm kinda strange. I feel like chili powdering them too.
I guess I'm going to have to sit out front on a folding chair holding a double barrel shotgun like some redneck protecting his daughter and blast away.
An American in the stinky French capital.

My old one was a Redring and it was never great. Can anyone recommend a good basic shower that keeps a constant temperature and good pressure. Dont know if this helps but I live in a bungalow and havent got a water pump. My neighbour just got a Mira Sport shower and is happy with it so I was thinking about getting one of them but wanted to wait to see if you had any other recommendations.

My neighbours seem to wash theirs twice a week, every week.
Do you think they have a very strange sexual perversion or are just very hygienic?

I am not green fingered! There are 4 Lythops sp plants and 1 unidentified plant I assume is another form of Lythops. Each 1 is about 2cm high - they do not all appear to be in perfect condition but I have no real cause for concern that they may soon die. I water them only when the soil dries out and try to keep them in the light. I live in a 1st floor flat and can not put them outside. I do get direct sunlight most of the day.

I always turned of my A/C when I went to work. A friend of mine says it costs you more when you turn it back on to recool the place. However, if i'm gone for 9 hours and turn it back on, it usually cools back up within 25 minute and that is from leaving it on the same temp. and not lowering it to cool faster.
