I was given a fushia last year that was flowering with dark pink flowers. I cut it back for winter and this year it has flowered with white flowers. I have not repotted or added any soil to the pot. Can anyone explain the colour change?

I've just purchased my first nightstand as part of a new bedroom set. The drawers have remained empty for 2 weeks because I don't have any idea what is "supposed" to go in there.

Recently purchased a new solid black with silver patina wrought iron bed with metal rails from the internet. When it arrived the boxes had an oder and we quickly put it together discarding them.
It is the bed which has a sort of sooty/paint musty type of smell which is permiating the room. The box spring and mattress are not on the bed as of yet.
I notified the company and they said to wipe it down with a DRY cloth and it should be okay. I have done this 4 times and each time black residue appears on the cloth.
Any suggestions what is wrong and how to remove the oder.

I live in a detached house divided into two flats. The mains cable splits into two in the hall. The wiring is old and exposed in places. The fuse boxes contain plugs with fuse wire. I don't think there are any circuit breakers or trip fuses. The electricity has restored itself spontaneously. Mice have recently entered the flat, and parts might be damp.

I intend to power hose the yard - I have heard that Jeys Fluid would stop the moss coming back. Has anybody got any better solutions.

purchase a rug that fits that table without the leaves, or do I get an area rug that will accomodate the table once opened. The leaves would only be used at holiday time. With the 2 leaves it would be 100" without the table is 60", so it's a big difference. I was going to get a
8 x 11 rug, but now I'm not sure if I should get the bigger
9 x 13 rug?

I find it slightly more loud in terms of the noise associated with rushing water from the faucet tubing.

Does anyone have any experience with this tap and if so, can you suggest a way of reducing the noise?
