In NY area, how much should I expect to pay for a 15x15 patio with pavers?
Nothing really fancy and the ground is almost completely level.

For many home improvement projects, a useful way to get in the ballpark for prices is to price the materials, then double that price for installation. Of course you need actual bids from contractors to confirm your estimate and teach you about variables you'll want to consider (quality & thickness of pavers, type of edging, choices for base material, etc).

For example - assume $4 per square foot for material (pavers plus base gravel plus sand filler). 15 x 15 = 225 sq feet, times $4 per square foot for materials = $900 for materials. Multiply that by 2 = $1800 ball park for an installed project. I'd expect you'd get estimates of between $1500 and $2000 for this project, or much higher if you choose upgraded paver materials.

Depends on many factors. Where in NY do you live? Are you going to do it yourself or have it installed? What type of pavers will you use? Take this case:
DIY, in CNY. probably around $850 or so. Thats with cheap pavers and bare minimum on gravel & such. If you want it installed, it'll be more.
