Any ideas of unique shapes for kitchen-dining room pass thrus?

The shape of the hole itself? I was thinking a regular square or rectangle but with the corners rounded down to be more like an archway. You could also just to the regular corners and use sconces in them to make it look really nice. You know what I mean right? Just put it up into the corner of the cutout so that you see the sides of them when standing in front of the pass thru.
