What makes the leaves of the touch-me-not plant shrink when somebody touches them?

it is known as plant stimuli
when one touches the plant, the cell on leaves they direct water back to the stem as a result it seems to shrink and the plant is sensitive to touch to protect itself
and after a while it returns to normal when water fills in the leave cells
