It said it in the label "turn off all ignition sources such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves). I live in a apartment so how do I do this? And when you using the fogger in bedroom would it be wise the cover the beds or furniture?

Yes you need to cover the bedsheets and any food or items you don't want to get covered in bug spray. You should NOT use this in an apartment. If you decide to use it anyway, unplug the fridge--the coils do spark when it turns on. Turn off the air conditioning and heater (obviously), and turn off the hot water heater. Unplug electrical equipment like the computer and tv.

I have used foggers many times and I always cover my plants, bedroom spread and fruits. I also turn off my computer so the fumes will not be sucked into the mechanisms. I dont worry about tables and such because I always dust and wash counters and such when finished. I just use newspapers or old blankets. Make sure to stay out of the house for around 2 hours. Me and my husband usually go out to lunch. Make sure to vaccum your floors and mop also. There is also no need to unplug your appliances. They work really well. Not as messy as you might think.

Hello,
The show "Myth Busters" did a bit about foggers. You are safe!!!
Cover cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans. I use trash bags to put them into and set on the table. Bed is fine as is. It's a good idea to cover the computer or at least make sure its off. Make sure to wipe everything down when you get back: counters and stove, mop floor and wipe tables.
Best of luck
God bless
