Put an ice cube on to the chewing gum and wait until the gum goes hard ( it freezes), it should then start to crumble and come away from the car seat just by using your finger nail.

You could try WD-40 and get a damp clothe. or try peanut butter the oil in the peanut butter usually eats through the stickynis. If that doesn't work you might try using those wart removers that you use to freeze warts, try that then just pry off the cold gum. They also sell some strickly gum freezing stuff in a can. You can usually pick it up at Home depot, samons, your work may have some on hand ask your local janitor.

Get an ice pack or something from your freezer, freeze the gum and it will scrape off very easily with a sharp knife.
Make a rule, no gum in the car.

Ice cubes. Hold some ice on the gum for at least a few minutes (Better yet, if it's on the seats, rest an ice-pack on it for at least ten minutes) Then it should freeze and your should be able to easily chip it off.

as you can't put the cover in the freezer (as it's fixed to the seat) you could get a peice of newspaper and iron over it. The gum will become warm and loose and it will lift. I know it's easy but I promise it works.
Good Luck

you could try ice ,and if any is left get "stain Devil" for removing chewing gum you drip some on and then gentle scrape it off .
I've used it before it seem to make the gum less sticky and easier to pick off. it costs about £1.20 i got mine in Tescos

Yes you can freeze it with Ice, but you will have a stain, to remove this use a steamer.
If you don't know where to get a steamer you can use a steam iron and a long lead.
