Very interesting question but it has happened for a soccer team and believe it or not out Troops during the earlier wars. To be honest with you though I cannot really tell you if I could or could not unless it really happened and I was actually faced with that decision.

There are a few things to consider here.
1) Is the person you plan to eat already dead?
2) Has the plane crashed in a remote part of the world. (By which I mean 100's of miles from nearest settlement)
3) How long do you consider waiting? he human body can go without food for a long time, usually longer than the time it takes to track a downed plane.
But I would possibly consider eating human flesh as a last resort if I felt I was going to die if I didn't, just being hungry or in discomfort would not make me do that. But given a week with no food in the wilderness with no sign of rescue, then I probably would, although most Aeroplanes have GPS systems to locate them these days & also carry some food, so I doubt I would have to make that choice.

confident! it is misguided, it is merciless, and it is an occasion of performing upon the 1st instinct - self maintenance. for sure, there are quite a few factors of the predicament you're forgetting to show as premises: The mode of "appointing" who gets to be the sufferer and who's being fed; the form of individuals the sufferer would be saving; the blood relation of the sufferer to the different one (very own new child, make certain) and for this reason, the willingness of the different one to guard, preserve or willingly replace the sufferer; the ability of the sufferer (alive, alive yet subconscious, vegetative state or lifeless); no count if the sufferer knows the placement or not, or has a say interior the determination making technique; no count if the sufferer volunteers for the placement; no count if the sufferer ought to be of fee to the survival of the aforementioned others; and no count if i understand i ought to be next in line... not asserting those premises are favourite or honest, i'm purely attempting to be arguing logically given the abnormality of the circumstances. not even asserting any of them would replace my determination...

Yikes. I don´t think I could get myself to eat another person. But people are known to do weird and uncommon things for survival, so you never know.
