She's coming to my town soon and I wonder if it would be extra motivating to attend - worth the time away from home and other fun.

I have a small bathroom that gets very steamy, even with an extractor fan running. Every radiater I put in there rusts in a short time. Is there such a thing as a zinc plated radiater, and if so where can I buy it?

And is there any sort of ettiquette to it? Do you have to have a certain amount of acreage? Does the property have to be significant to the community somehow? Does the property need to be very old? And so forth.

We bought our house in foreclosure and it was a pretty good deal for the massive size and the pool, but I can't stand the color of the brick. It's in shades of sand, I guess you'd say. It's really not me. The inside of our house is painted a beautiful gold and brick red. I would like the the bricks outside to be red or reddish also. My house is 3100 square feet. The brick area is 100% in the front and half of two sides. We're going to try to train some English ivy, but I wondered if there might be something I could do about the color of the brick first.

Thank you so much for any suggestions.

I have a small area behind my pool where there are a few decent-sized palm trees and grass and weeds. We want to do something attractive with that area, but we don't have a lot of money. It's hard to mow there because everything goes flying into the pool. We've pulled the grass out a few times, but that is frustrating, back breaking work that lasts much shorter than you'd think. It grows back pretty darned fast. I've been told not to landscape with lava rock. What can I use? I need rocks that are big enough that if they're knocked into the pool, they won't be sucked up by the vacuum. I'm up for any ideas at this point. I live in the DFW area of Texas.

We have neighbors all around us, behind and on both sides, so growing something that will spread is difficult. We considered bamboo, but don't want it popping up in our neighbors' well-manicured lawns.

Help... please.

Thank you!

it seems very expensive here in Europe, the man wants to drill holes in my walls every 8 inches and inject poison. This is just to prevent termites, we don't have them already.

help...at a recent class reunion (we won't go there) some wonderful old friend hugged me and spun me around while holding his rather full glass of red wine...I was wearing a new, pale aqua blue silk blouse which is probably my favorite)...He spilled the wine all down my back.
With my lady friends help, we tried to use salt on it and also someone said try salt and soda water. The plain salt worked best but was far from successful...It is now dry and I am ready to try again but am sacared to ruin it. more....I would love any wisdom...Thank you!!!!

When I turn the hot tap in the kitchen on lately it thumps loudly and shakes until the water flow stabilizes. What could be causing this and how do I go about fixing it?

Is that a sign of a nutrient deficiency? OR is it just a disease possibly? I know it may be hard for you to know what I mean without seeing it, but there is one plant I have which produces "purplish or even blackish" splotched peppers.
