first get a shop vac/wet dry vac, since latex paint is water based
it should come out easy, spray the spots with warm water(no soap or spot removal stuff) take the vac hose using the end to scrape and draw the water and paint out of the carpet, repeat
until clean, this works on most stains. good luck.

YOU CAN USE AN EXACTO KNIFE AND CUT OUT A PIECE OF THE EXISTING CARPET FROM INSIDE THE BACK OF A CLOSET WHERE IT WON'T SHOW, CUT OUT THE BAD SPOTS ON YOUR CARPET AND GLUE THE PIECE IN THERE. THEN TRIM IT UP EVENLY. CHECK TO GET THE PATTERN OR NAP GOING THE RIGHT DIRECTION. HOPE IT HELPS!
