I just recently bought used wooden furniture, and I wanted to know how to get the smoke smell out.

Wash the furniture well with "Murphy's Oil Soap" then, use a lemon oil on the wood. You may have to repeat the soap wash a couple of times before the smell is out well enough to use lemon oil.

That's a tough one to do. If it's just wood furniture and not cushions then your best bet would be to reseal the wood. Wood just absorbs odors but it's hard to get it out of the wood. We had the same problem w/ a dresser set. Washed it down several times w/ vinegar water and let it air dry, and put charcoal in the drawers for a week, we even tried spraying it down w/ Fabreze and you could still smell it! So we sealed it with shellac. Worked like a charm! Yeah, it's some work. But well worth it.

The cushions would be a whole other issue. You'll need to clean them and spray them down and put them outside to air dry. Maybe put bowls of vinegar near by. It'll absorb the odor. So do pieces of charcoal.

I presume they were reclaimed from a house fire

Scrub them well with 50% white vinegar and water .

spray inside of all surfaces with the vinegar mixture '

Dry thou rally and air outside, if possible

You may have to repeat this two or three times .

If it is polished furniture;

wipe it with a soft cloth and the white vinegar solution .
dry well ,
and re polish with a good quality wax polish

cheap and cheer full and it works !!
