I had also used rugs over the tile, but the cold still radiates through. Now, I want to place down wood flooring. I was suggested to place down 30 pound tar paper and place the lamiante floor on top. Any ideas?? Also, my area gets very moist, somebody suggested to go with bamboo flooring.

My Bathroom (the one room I wish I could change), has a light pink wall tile and off white with a pink hue floor tile. There are seashells on a few of the tile in the shower. I want dark bold colors for the new seasons but can't figure out what will look good. I've had dark gray and blue and am tired of them. Can I use reds or should I stick to black and greens? Shower stall and faucets are gold. Anyone have GOOD suggestions?

It's a very large fall garden. If the ants don't tote the seeds away, the mole crickets kill the seedlings. Please help! Thanks!

I know this is a wierd question. I have tons of socks that the main color is white but then they have designs like strawberries on them or cats, dogs, ladybugs etc... How can I get the white part of the socks really white when I wash them without messing up the cute designs ? I use Tide with Bleach Alternative and it does a pretty good job but I want them to be whiter (bleach white). Would adding Clorox 2 help ? Thanks for reading

I know you aren't supposed to hang up a sweater when it's wet because the weight of the water will stretch it out. I was wondering, once the sweater is dry is it okay to hang it up ? Thank you.

I have solid oak doors inside my house and the problem is that the weight of the doors make my hinges squeek. I have tried WD40 and a couple of other lubricants but the squeeks keep coming back after a short period. Is there anything that I can use that will last and will get rid of my squeeks?

There is an old historical building in Connecticut I think would be really cool to have the blueprints or layout to frame and also make copies in art projects and use as matting in photography. IS there anyway to get copies or see the originals at at own hall or something?
