i would like to know if i can leave my fish in my pond this winter

As long as your pond is at least 2 feet deep they should be fine. There is a heater you can buy that keeps a small amout of ice on the top melted so the water gets fresh oxygen. We used that for 2 years but the years we didnt, we didnt have any problems (our pond is 3 feet deep.
It all depends on how cold it gets in your area during the winter.

yes these fish can stay outside in the winter
it all depends on how deep your pond is and what part of the country you live in
you must make sure that your pond cannot freeze solid

I know someone who does this. After, they are animals. Fish in lakes stay there all winter. How do you think these things survived for millions of years without your help or interference?
