Pink is a very difficult colour to work with especially without seeing the exact shade -- some are lighter, darker, a bit warmer or cooler... In general, off-white, beige, black, and white always work well with all shades of pink. If the pink has a salmon hue to it, you can pull in some burnt oranges and even dark golden yellows into the room. If the pink is more like a bubblegum pink, you can use dark browns (think chocolate shades), with small accents of certain shades of purple or a raspberry-like shade.
One of the easiest ways to incorporate the typical light pink older tiles into a more refreshing and current look decor, is to opt for a "gemstone" colour palette. Introduce some bright but not too dark colours found in gemstones -- think topaz, turquoise, aquamarine, sapphire, amethyst, ruby, emerald... Trim, doors, and even cabinetry would look best if painted white. You should be able to achieve this style by painting the room, getting some artwork in appropriate colours, changing your shower curtain and towels, and getting some new accessories. This colour scheme is light and airy, upbeat, and works well year round. Good luck!

What a color nightmare mess!!! You can take all that wall tile down, sand the walls and paint. You can also redo the ceramic tile in the shower......how much could that really be?? Do it yourself.....I did ceramic tile in the shower when I was 8 months pregnant and had no experience and it came out nice! Put carpet on the floor. You can also replace the faucets since those don't cost that much.

I think a nice rich brown would go well with pink. Any shade of beige (which I realize sounds boring) or caramel would be pretty and you could accent it with more bold colors that compliment the pink.

The dark blue or navy blue sounds good. Or use darker greens for the base points as though it were grass and then use your colors as points of interest.'
