Hi Gary,
If the skylights just go into thier living room, bedroom or kitchen I can't see the problem.
Perhaps if you install really bright lights facing upwards they wouldn't be able to see in your place - that might make them feel better.
Although you might have the problem of seeing "too much detail" if they walk around in the nude too much.

Do the skylights go from your cieling to their floor, or have you bypassed their flat so you can see the sky. How. I do not undertand what you mean

please it is just sky lights for god sake. it could have some ugly solar panels, a matrress, or an old bath tub . please let them know you are improving your home and sense of space. also let them know this is america where people do better their life and well being and most people start that at home . if that doesnt work switch all your electricity to solar and that will really piss them off.

yes they are, you need to put in an open fire place then they will know how lucky they were before , when they didn't have smoke coming into their place
