I should do a commercial for dyson.
we have pets and well everything. We thought we were going to have to replace the carpet. We got talked into a dyson.
We had to empty it several times just for the living room. Our other vacumn and a borrowed one never got up that much stuff.
I didn't care what it cost, the man told us that commercial janitorial services used them. So I got the big one.
It was worth every penny. My carpet looks like a new one.
Wouldn't trade it for anything.

I had to invest in a new vacuum last year. I've had a Kirby, years ago, and it was a good one but very heavy to lug around. Maybe rthe new ones are lighter.
I've had a Sears, a Eureka, a Hoover wind tunnel and a World Vac.
I shopped around and thought I'd get an Oreck. All the demos were impressive.
Then I looked at a Dyson. Although it isn't as light as I'd like ( I have a bad back) it does an excellent job. It's was amazing to me how much dust, pet hair and grit it gets up. I vacuumed the house before I left to pick up the new one. When I got back, just to try it out, I went over the carpets that I had just done. Shameful what I got up !!!!
I LOVE the Dyson.
You can read a Consumer Report magazine (the library has them) and see for yourself how they're rated. Expensive doesn't NECCESSARILY mean best but in this case it's true.

Oh, I solved the heavy part..... my husband now does the vacuuming!!

People seem to think that Dyson is the best, because it is so expensive. That is not necessarily true. You can try Epinions, Amazon, and Yahoo Shopping. If you type in vacuum, you will be able to see other people ratings and reviews for almost everything available on the market

Many people say that Dyson is the best. Dyson, however is quite expensive, as are Kirby, Electrolux, and Oreck. For a quality, midlevel, not-so-expensive vaccum, I swear by the Bissell Cleanview II series. They generally run around $100-130, and are excellent vaccums for the price. They also come with an excellent warranty.

Dyson, they have a 2 year standard warranty not many have that plus some stores let you buy additional warranty for little cost.
