I have been looking at the birds that live around my house and have been eating alot of food. I thought that I had timed our weather right, but hey I can be wrong. The time said we were going to have a realy bad Winter last year, but we didn't have that much snow. I don't if I need to get ready or not?

Get ready anyway. And keep watching the critters outside. I knew we would have a mild winter last year because the Robins never went south.

So, if you prepare now for winter, but it ends up being mild, that's ok. But if it ends up being nasty, hey, you'll be ready for it, right?

It took all last winter, and almost into spring before the berries on my Mountain Ash had been eaten by the birds ( Last week )my Mountain Ash had twice as many berries as the year before. (This week )every berry has been eaten by the birds. This makes me very concerned.

Normally we are warmer than this, but the leaves have turned already. Its rainy and cold, we have never had this much rain. When it hits sooner like this, it usually means its gonna be a long one.
