6 month new home. Odor in guest bath , two months later in master bath.
Builder said it was the marble. Marble sink tops were replaced but still the odor. Marble co. said they never had the problem before. Could it be the cabinet wood but kitchen has the same wood and no order. Custom cabinets.

I am looking for something I can either download for free or use online for renovating. It should be like graph paper that you can customize to your room measurements and accessories.

On my way haome from school today, I found a little caterpillar. That's pretty weird because I live in the city. Anyway, I want to give it to my science teacher on monday, (today is friday!!!) so I want to feed it before it kicks the bucket. I classified it, and I think it will become a monarch butterfly. (It has stripes of green, black and yellow) I've heard that they eat milkweed, but none grows anwhere around here, so what can I feed him/her? P.S. My mom suggested lettuce, is that ok?

I'm starting to think about ideas for Christmas decor. I love the country/rustic type of Christmas decor. I think this year I am going to make a popcorn strand for the tree. Anyone have any other ideas that are quite easy that relate to this theme? Even simple ideas are welcome! Thanks!

Hi! I'm moving into my first apartment. It's actually going to be the first time that I'm going to be living on my own. It's a small apartment (not like box or coffin apartment small) and I'm looking for some tips or ideas on design. Some of my likes / dislikes are:

Likes
----------
1. I like the color black, but not as in "goth" or batcave.
2. I like classical music.
3. I also like history. I'm very font of italian stuff and the renaissance.
4. I love paintings.
5. I'm generally a very eclectic person.

Dislikes
-----------
1. Any feminine colors or pastels. I'm a guy.
2. Many people like pop music. I dont.
3. I dont like brown. I think that bright yellow should be reserved for "Big Bird".

Please, any help that you can give would be obliged. How would I describe my taste and my views? I believe strongly that I was born into the wrong century.

Thank you very much for any help!

I have moved to a 1930 terraced house with bay window in SW London. I am keen to know which are fireplaces common at the time. Please attach photos.. Is it the cast iron, the pinky beige or the slabbed tile art deco.
My house is a very standard 3 bedroom terrace in Sw20, ans is common in Morden too.

I tried Resolve and elbow grease, and it lightened it significantly, and the pattern helps to disguise it, but I can still tell it's there. Is there any known household cleaner or Heloise trick (OK, I refuse to try vinegar if that's the case!) that may remove it further?

I've had TruGreen Chemlawn for about two years, and called to cancel their services, because they didn't show for two months. Also I have not seen a "treated area" improve over four months, and paid for extra services, still no results. I called and talked to a lovely person who was going to send a supervisor, but that was over 72 hours ago. I only did this cause I believe that a company has the right to improve a situation before someone goes and switches,,,.. so question.. anyone here ever have issues against Scotty's? Or disputes with TruGreen Chemlawn?

I have two coated leather sofas, in cream. They don't belong to me as I live in a company apartment and are very expensive. They have quite a deep grain to them and are getting quite grubby. I have tried colourless shoe cleaner and kitchen cleaner (!) Nothing gets them quite as new. Any ideas?

I noticed it was getting hot in the house today, and went to check the thermostat, only to find that none of the lights in the house work. (Overhead, connected to a wall switch, even the one in the hood of the oven)

Apparently, the thermostat is tied to this and so the air hasn't come on for who knows how long.

I checked the fusebox, and none of them were in the OFF position, but just to be sure, I reset everyone of them. (Turning them OFF and then back ON) Still nothing.

Anyone know what the problem is, and what needs to be done to fix it?
