i sure am suprised at all these peeps that say go to home depot..WE must be doing something right..

While Home Depot is a good store, it's nursery department is absolutely horrible. I always suggest that a person goes to a NURSERY not a hardware store for flowers.

Home Depot is hit and miss. Sometimes you go in there and you find the
right person and they can help you for what you need. Other times, even if
you can get some one to help you, you might know more than they do and
you're the one looking for help and they're the one trying to help you! If you
really need something critical, go to that specialty store.

Not happy with Home Depot, there is always Lowe's. Home Depot does need to work on its customer service!

No their wrong Home Depot has THE WORST customer sevice out there they are worthless trash that and other good stores won't hire.
If you want paint, go to a paint store if you need nuts & bolts or a faucet, go to a hardware or plumbing store. HOme Depot is horrible.

It is the convenience. They have 99% of anything you need for home maintenance and generally speaking the staff are knowledgeable. As with any store they are manned by people and now and then you get a rotten apple. There are two close to me. I wouldn't send anyone to one and wholeheartedly endorse the other. I've had the same problem with the so called "specialty" stores too. People are people no matter where you live. Just shop the store you are comfortable with.

I like Home Depot a lot, they have good service; but it's like what the other person said, it depends on where you live.

the difference between home depot and other places is when you ask a question at home depot, the employees will stop what they are doing, try to understand what your goal is, then walk with you untill you find what you are looking for..

I really could blog this. But people are like Lemmings, they see a bunch of cars in a parking lot and they figure, this must be " THE PLACE". Them they enter and fall off "THE CLIFF"!!!!!

totallyy depends on the area and the store, some are good and 10 miles away they ar bad.
