We recently broke ground on our new home. Our builder is asking for a 500 dollar advancement to help him out (probably for his own day to day bills). Our builder was slow to start with anyway. We did check refs before we went with him, and all checked out okay. What do you think? Also, would you give him the money? The money would come from the constructions loan.

I have some fresh peaches and there are not enough to can, so I'm wondering if I could freeze them. If I do freeze them, do I freeze them whole or peel and cut them in slices? Can I freeze them in bags or plastic containers?

WE have checked the circuit panel all the breakers are on the "on" position. We have one GFI switch. Which is the smaller of the two bathrooms we have, but it is the main bath. WE had a situation where a vacumn cleaner was plugged into an outlet right by the front door. The other was a hair dryer plugged into , the second bath , this one does not have a GFI switch. One person plugged in the vacumn, and switched it on,. the other , in the second bath , plugged in her hair dryer. Each with out the other Knowledge. Well guess, what it tripped the circuit breaker , Which we since have checked it and , it in the on position . WE replaced the GFI switch with a totally new one from Home Depot. Any one out there have any ideas as to why we have only 1/2 the power in our Mobile Home??. We had our Electric Company out they said the current from the meter is reading strong. Please any professional , and or personal experience responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What do you feel is the best product to clean a bathtub with. It is plastic of some sort with a textured bottom that likes to get grime in the little holes. It's hard to clean and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what would be the best product to use.

Which cola is best? Coke? Pepsi? Faygo? How long? Do I scrub it with anything afterwards? Will this also work for flatware that might not be silverware... or that little cap on the sink that's starting to rust? I've also heard using aluminum foil like a scouring pad works. Does it? Is it bad for the metal? What about cast iron?
