There are hundreds of slang words for toilet like Khazi, bog, john etc, but a hundred years ago a woman attending to her toilet, would be brushing her hair and putting her make-up on.

I will check back later to see all the different versions of toilet you lot find.

I have to add this, though I'm really not into definitions or interpretations for bathroom fixtures.

I grew up on a farm, being raised by my grandparents. I knew we had an "outhouse" and initially, when very young, thought my grandparents were the most religious people on the planet.

I was always overhearing, "I'm going to church",,, primarily by my grandfather. "Paula" apparently felt no need to advertise that she was going to the OUThouse,,,smiles.
