I am building an inground pool and want a gold and glitter color rather than the typical greys or whites. Jeff Kerber pool plastering in California has something called gold dust. They have not returned my calls for information. Does anyone know what this gold dust is? Does anyone know of a product that I can throw on to wet pool plaster to get a gold and glitter effect? The glitter needs to not discolor with pool chlorine

Ok, I need to fix the whole the best I can, but have no idea how to do it. I know nothing about tools and am not very handy when it comes to this kind of stuff. A friend told me about some kind of sticker you can use. HAs anyone heard of these, how do they work?

The leaf was broken off at the soil line during a move and she told me to plant it in potting soil and it would grow. I'm just wondering how accurate the information is.

I want to put a few trees in our treeless yard and I would like them to grow as quickly as possible. I do not like fruit trees, too many bees. I would prefer small leaves so I don't have to rake in the fall. Any suggestions?

I recently received a bag with an assortment of seeds - flowers (annuals & perinials) and vegetables. Before I plant, I need to know if these are actually still good. Do seeds have a "shelf life?" Some packages have dates stamped on them.

i want to make strapless, tea-length dresses for my bridesmaids and i feel bad asking them to pay $80 or more for it when they'll already have to come to the wedding. Would it be that hard for me to make them? I'm not bad w/ the sewing machine, but i'm concerned about slippery fabrics and boning.

Purchased an older(1990) Commodore trailer home and trying to fix it up for my kids and myself to live in. Don't think the roof was ever "coated'' and it has some rust spots which have resulted in leaks. I am looking to discuss alternative roofing solutions if anyone has any ideas or things they have tried, I would like to hear from you.

Some of the boards are water damaged or rotten in spots and two have broken thru. I want to lay 3/4 ply in the entire room over the existing subfloor and then add concrete board over the ply. The floor beams are fine. Floor height isn't a problem. Can I do this or should the old boards be removed?

All that I can find online and in retail stores are the plain white thermostats. I am looking for a programmable universal thermostat to control our home furnace and AC.
