Do you end up paying less for your water if you have a water-meter? Is there any cost to install it? Will I pay more if I just pay the standard yearly rate?

I'm in E5 8JA

Is it easy to lay wooden flooring through my flat.
All the rooms are pretty square ish - do i need to use a jigsaw or would a normal saw do?

Oh - and where can i get the cheapest wooden flooring? But that still looks good?

Cheers

I'm wondering if sugar soap has some sort of abrasive in it that helps the paint stick to the old surface. I find that sugar soap is useless in removing marks from walls. Or can I just sand paper the walls with fine grade sand paper?

I am looking to re-grout my bathroon - just moved in and its kinda grey in colour (not attractive) - do i need to chip away and remove the old grout before applying new stuff?

Or can i simply grout over to whiten things up?

I'm an interior designer but for me it's harder to do my own place than other people's places since I have to LIVE with it and don't have the money to change it whenever I want to. We have a dark brown and light beige area rug (shaggy), a rustic red entertainment center, big overstuffed blue couch and love seat.
Our favorite colors are: brown, red, black and some lighter neutral colors. We love Asian styled themes and rustic styled, too. Any suggestions??

My roommate uses a LOT of bleach each time she washes her laundry. It usually take 2-3 loads of my own clothes for the bleach smell to go away. Is excessive use of bleach bad for the washer?

I found a baby silverfish crawling on one of my books when I was packing them in a snaptop box. Needless to say, I am now worried there are more unknown bugs hidden among my books and clothes and other things I need to pack up and bring to another location. So my question is, is there a safe spray or insect killer that I can put in my boxes and baggage before I seal them up and move? I don't wan't to bring insects with me to my new apartment and home.
