I develop a rash with wool, but anything else, it's usu sally a rash from detergent. Use Cheer Free or Tide Free. Some folks I know can't wear any synthetic made fabric. I try to use all cotton and never get things dry cleaned because of the cleaning fluid is so bad.

I'm allergic to acrylic. If I do have something that has it, I try not to wear it too long. Or I just won't buy it. If for some reason you do develop a rash you should use Cortizone 10 creme - it really works. Also stay away from wool.

Fabrics may be divided into those which are from natural sources (wool, cotton, silk, skin-hide-fur, feather/down, paper) and synthetic (nylon, rayon, polyester, acetate, polyurethane, synthetic rubber, and others). A person can become hypersensitive to any one or a combination of these fabrics.
If you find that putting on a certain shirt, blouse, skirt, sweater, suit, coat or hat makes you feel relaxed, happy, depressed, anxious, confident, sexy, or reflective --- make a note of it. Make a listing of your clothes noting the color, fabric composition, dry cleaned or laundered, bleach or fabric softener used, age, and degree of fit.......................
Take out the formaldehyde and you no longer have permanent press, or fabric "body", or instant attractiveness. Formaldehyde in noticeable concentrations often provides symptoms of headache, nausea, distraction, blurring, anxiety, and even muscle aches and pains. And consider that the tighter your clothing, the more directly this gas is being fed into the pores in your skin.........................
Just a few tips you will learn about here:

No fabric allergies here, but sometimes the dye in new fabrics irritates my eyes.
Perhaps you should try another brand of detergent, and also try using less detergent, as too much can cause itching and rash.
