concrete floors can be a real pain as a contractor I have seen many, I would choose the stain as it it more permanent than paint'but whichever you choose the most important thing is to seal it with a g concrete sealer and keep it in good shape by resealing it every year or two , I f you do not the concrete is so porus that any spill,or just residue fron walking on it wii get into the concrete and the stains will be very difficult to remove

I have seen some new apartments with stained concrete floors. It's actually pretty nice for being so cost effective. They were stained a brick red and had large diamond patterns cut into them.

I agree it would look very cool but I think concrete floors are hard on your legs the blood circulation..check first with someone you know in the medical field what they think....I bought a cushioned rug for my kitchen since I'm standing at the sink so often on a tile floor over concrete....best of luck in your choice...

hi i'm a filipino... and most of our house here are concrete even our walls, sometimes ceilings too....
you ask painted or stained on your floors? i sudgest stained coz you dont have to repaint it again when its fades...and sometimes whe nyour floors are painted its cracked and the flakes do stick on your skin or even stained your clothes....
but if you can affort to buy marmole (a shiny stones that have vain print).....

not really - tiled stone or lamanite is better
concrete when stained is hard to claen, and floor forever looks dirty
