My family is looking for a house and it seems lots in our area have rooms with wood paneling. I hate it. What can be done to get rid of it/ change it/ improve it without spending a ton of money?

Our washing machine started spraying water, and we thought it was broken. Our new one did the same thing until we put it back on its base, and this might be the simple fix for the old washing machine too. However, we don't want to make a mess again and just want to get rid of it.

I have tried donating this washing machine and posting in on Craigslist, but no luck so far. How can I get rid of it for maximum value / minimum cost? Hoping for a better answer than to take it to a junkyard...

My kitchen ceiling is not very dirty, but it's got a thin layer of grease/dust covering most of it. I've been using a step ladder and a sponge to clean it, which has turned out to be an efficient method, but it's also time-consuming and tiring.

I'm thinking of just using a mop to clean it.

Does anyone know of a better way to clean a kitchen ceiling?

We have a garbage disposal that freezes up. It runs fine once it goes, but when it's turned on, it needs a tap on the body to get it spinning......and now it's at the point where I need to use a stick to get it started fairly often. I know I could replace it, thanks, but since it works fine once it gets rolling, I'm wondering if there's any treatment I could use to get the initial startup to be easier? Baking soda? Oil? Any help would be appreciated!
