Someone surely should have told you, that's just not bloody right!!!-Either the builder, the constructioner, YOUR SOLICITOR, and the solicitor who represents the property estate building of your location. I surely can feel for you, we (hubby and our son) also had a recent situation "just like yours"-the "social housing" was indeed shown on the fancy shmancy brochure that they use to solicit to potential clients, such as us.....BUT it was in a shaded part of the layout-You'd need a magnifying glass to first go over the entire grounds of the development before finding the same=social housing. We, same as you do not mind (well, not that much)but why should we work our tails off for years to finially purchase our dream house, only to watch these hooligans moving in, watching the smirks on their faces-AND BEST YET, they drive BMW's, Mercs, etc. We certainly do not have much of a leg to stand on regarding the "special housing", because when we approached the sales dept, the 1st thing they did was point to the brochure,to the light shaded area, which is 98% totally unrecoganizable. Now we have problems with snotty, snooty, and extremely rude and nosey neighbors next to us-We were baffled as to why they are so bloody nasty, and asked the sales to please send a foreman of the builders crew asap to our house. When we discussed the problems our "neighbors" have created for us, and what they do, as if they are flies on our walls, the foremen told us:it is what it is-He/they cannot change the density of the walls, and perhaps we should just keep our private business when we talk at a lower decibal!!!!! The nerve-This is our HOUSE (attached, unfortunately, but G the developer and reputation is meant to be impeccable-phaw!-If I ever had the chance to meet this extremely highly known developer, I'd sic my G/Sheppard on him, and leave him there for good 10 hours!) As far as he noise, the graffitti, and YOUR KIDS SWORN AT AND KICKED? ALL I can say, is it's a GOOD thing, I'm not in your shoes, I'd end up starting WWIII!!!!!-Your kids most certainly have a legal leg (LEGAL LEGS)to stand on, BUT............this is VITAL and CRUCIAL to your situation to know the following: You MUST document each and every incident, and copy each, and bring/or post to your county-Also make CC: to the social housing dept. You MUST continue to do so, otherwise you have nothing but a pile of useless valid complaints. What does YOUR solicitor say? I wish you the best.

It is up to you to research the area you are moving to. I wouldn't have thought of it but someone suggested to me to check out neighborhoods at night or on weekend nights to see what comes out of the woodwork. I feel for your situation but I don't see how you wouldn't have at least driven by the lot before you agreed to have a house built on it. I would put up the tallest privacy fence allowed (it'll probably get spray painted on the other side but at least you won't have to look at projects all the time) and sell as soon as I could.

P.S. And if someone is kicking your kids you need to either call the cops on them or kick their *** or talk to their parents.
