I also had an Indesit washer and it also broke down, i remember interpreting someplace that there have been some machines that were defective. i might want to contact them and ask them what the problem with their machines are and clarify to them that 2 have damaged down on you already. I easily have now were given a Hoover and it fairly works brilliantly. i do no longer imagine that Indesit washing machines are affordable in any respect, funds is funds and it does no longer remember how a lot you spend you anticipate sturdy service out of the gadget. :)

Go to your local dump and see if they have a special location for those. I know they have a special section for refrigerators and computers. There may be a small fee involved, but it shoudn't be too much.
If it's broken, I wouldn't try to sell it unless you make sure you tell whomever is interested in it that they are buy it as-is and explain the problem up front. I would just get rid of it as I explained above.

Hook it up and try it again say out on the porch. If it is a simple fix, you should fix and sell it for a little dough. If you don't want to do that, check the sunday paper, there are a lot of guys that pick up appliances and maybe even pay $25 for them for the parts or to repair and resale.

When you buy your new washing machine get them to take away your old one as part of the deal when you make your order - find a company that will remove it when they bring the new one to you.

Put it out front with a sign saying free on it.
It will be picked up in less than a day.
Doesn't sound like you will not get money for it if Craigslist couldn't sell it.

unfortunately, people leave them in the back lane and the council take them
u could try a charity that takes furniture etc, there is one in plymouth that takes washing machines and reconditions them, but the chances of u living in plymouth are probably quite low

I phoned the council, they came with a lorrycrane and took it away. I just had to leave it where it was accessible. Perhaps it was because I said that I was going to leave it on waste ground!!!

Try free-ads in your local paper; be honest about the fault, sell 'As seen' and don't ask too much - Oh, and buyer collects!
