we have just moved to a new house, and the bathroom shower is currently electric... but its like standing under a feeble dribble.

I want to upgrade the shower in a cost efficient and easy way, to make it tolerable for the year ahead. (next year we will do a full refurb)

which electric shower should i buy...which features should i look out for? eg does a higher KW rating mean more pressure? etc etc

clearly i have no clue!

Thanks!

I'm decorating my bedroom, and I'm still undecided as to lay carpet, or not. Wood flooring is another alternative, but I'm concerned about how cold, and noisy it'll be.

I had spilled some candlewax on a shirt of mine by accident. We tried putting the shirt in a freezer and then scraping the wax off. Then we got a paper towel putting it on both sides of the fabric to try and iron / melt the wax off. After this process we washed the shirt. Most of the wax removed from the shirt but you can still see a white spot on the shirt. Any ideas on how to save the shirt?

We have 5 blue spruce that are planted too close together, but are now too large to move. Can the sides be trimmed back like they do Christmas trees and when is the best time to do it. Also there are tons of birds living in them, will all that bird poop hurt the trees?

Hello,
I have started renting a house, and there is a pretty bad smell in the lounge room. It sort of smells like a pet smell. I don't know how to get rid of it - i mean the carpet is pretty old, and i believe that is where the smell is coming from. It's really quite strong, and i just want to get rid of it. I know the previous tennants had pets.

There's another smell problem with the Stove top/Oven as well - the other night when i was using a hot plate, it started to absolutely reek - i smelt the hot plate, and it stunk really badly of a pet smell/mice. I cleaned it with bleach.

I was told by the new neighbours that the previous tennants also had a mouse problem..... I'm starting to get worried that the smell is from mice....

Who's responsibility to clean the carpet/oven is it?

Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any comments!!

Thank you.

I need to find a house that is close to my area so I don't have to sign my son into another school. Do you have property that is rent to own if you do please help?

I went to sign papers for a house I wanted to rent and the renter asked me about my credit history so I told her that I had bad credit. The only thing she was actually worried about was if I had ever gotten evicted from anywhere and I never have. Now she says that I cant rent the house because my credit is not good enough. Well my intentions were to move my family to the house and consolidate my credit debt which by the way I was in the process of doing while getting ready to move in. Now the problem is I have a child that was promised his own room and now he does'nt have one to look forward too. Why are people so mean? Why couldn't she just listen to my reasoning? I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place because I need somewhere to live. I guess this is the price I pay for getting my education. So if there is somebody in the area that has property for rent Please help me and my family. You know there are still hononest people in this world and I'm one of them.

I have a 16-year old Trane XL80, single-stage gas furnace. I am replacing is with a new Trane XL90, dual-stage gas furnace. I'm rewiring my garage, and I'd like to put the garbage disposal (1/2 hp) on the same 15A circuit as the furnace, since I'm just powering the blower. Problem is I can't figure out what the blower draws. Does anyone have any ideas or any ballparks? I've asked Trane and gotten no response. I've asked the contractor who's going to install the new furnace, but he's decided to stop returning my phone calls (a common problem with Bay Area contractors). Thanks for any help.
