we have just moved to a new house, and the bathroom shower is currently electric... but its like standing under a feeble dribble.

I want to upgrade the shower in a cost efficient and easy way, to make it tolerable for the year ahead. (next year we will do a full refurb)

which electric shower should i buy...which features should i look out for? eg does a higher KW rating mean more pressure? etc etc

clearly i have no clue!

Thanks!

i've just realised that electric showers are a UK thing. apparently the rest of the world doesnt use them!

That was the first time I saw one of them. All it is is a tank less water heater m,united at the source. That would explain the low water pressure. The electric tank less heaters are limited in there flow rates. Usually if you adjust the temperature it in turn adjusts the flow. If the house has a standard water heater then that should be sufficient. You may need remove the electric just to see if they even plumbed a hot water line to it or just the cold line.

I have never heard of an electric shower. Do you mean you have well water??? OK the UK is still in the dark ages so you will need to consult a plumber if the have any in the UK yet
