I went to sign papers for a house I wanted to rent and the renter asked me about my credit history so I told her that I had bad credit. The only thing she was actually worried about was if I had ever gotten evicted from anywhere and I never have. Now she says that I cant rent the house because my credit is not good enough. Well my intentions were to move my family to the house and consolidate my credit debt which by the way I was in the process of doing while getting ready to move in. Now the problem is I have a child that was promised his own room and now he does'nt have one to look forward too. Why are people so mean? Why couldn't she just listen to my reasoning? I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place because I need somewhere to live. I guess this is the price I pay for getting my education. So if there is somebody in the area that has property for rent Please help me and my family. You know there are still hononest people in this world and I'm one of them.

This person was a real estate agent but I had talked to the original home owner about my credit and that is when everything changed for me. The agent talked to the owner and basically changed her mind about renting to me and the sad part is that this house is right next door to my current address. I watched as they remodeled the house I even had conversations with the original owners Brother about this property can you really help me?

Please for starters, do NOT put yourself down, by saying:"you guess this is the price you pay for getting your education. I can give you examples of people in my immediate family who did not even COMPLETE high school, and came out to be honest, hard working and successful people. It just is a shame that you were so mistreated by this "renter"-Secondly, the "renter", was it a private owner, or an estate agent, etc? And can you please advise as to the approximate area you are looking at to move, and approx. rent affordable for you now. Yes, indeed, there ARE still very honest people in this world, and I am sorry you were treated so poorly. God is good, you NEVER know, I hope to hear some kind of input, so THIS honest person (me, and my husband, who is actually the real estate pro) may be able to help you out. For the meanwhile, take a deep breath, relax, and try to stay calm, and KNOW that you are NOT the only honest person living in a rotten/bitter world.(although, it is often-times hard NOT to fell so, I understand).

people are the way they are for various reasons i guess. Some might be ahving a bad day...others might hate their job. I don't know what that lady was thinking, and yes i think that it sucks that she coudn't tell you that up front as well. Just keep plugging away at it even if you feel hopeless.
