The sun goes down in the west, in front of my house. We have no trees and are unable to plant any trees in the front yard. In the late evening when the sun starts to set, it can get 80-82 degrees in our living room. I have thermal drapes and regular blinds in the window, but it doesn't seem to be helping and I never open my front door or my windows. I guess my question is, does anyone know of any other suggestions to help me with this problem. I didn't know if I tried regular wood blinds if they would eventually warp??????

sorry to keep bugging everyone with my ignorance, but this is the first time i've ever owned a washer and dryer, and i didn't really forsee these issues.

on top of the electrical question i had (see my other post in this topic), i now realize i have no outdoor ventillation. the place in back of the dryer where the lint is supposed to exit is just a hole.

any ideas what i can do? is there something i can buy to catch the lint? could i just clean it after every cycle? i have no clue! and i don't really have an outdoor option at this point, as far as i know.

They're bright red, about one centimeter long and look like a cross between a spider and an ant. I've searched the web and I can't find anything about them. They appeared very suddenly; I didn't see any sign of them the morning I weeded my garden, but that evening there was maybe a dozen crawling over this one pepper.

I already washed my sneakers in a washing machine and after that they were clean and in good condition. But I am not sure about the converse shoes because they contain rubber. If u had an experience of washing converse in the washing machine, please tell me about it.

ok I have this jeans for a year already it has been wached many time but my washing machine broke so I used my friend's one , I don't know what happend but they just shrink so much..I didn't do anything different just cold water and delicates .. I'm so mad b/c they are my favorite jeans and they don't fit me anymore :(

hi,
i hope it's not annoying that this is my first post here. i searched all over, but couldn't find an answer to my question. i just bought a dryer. the outlet i was going to use is specifically supposed to work for a dryer, and it has 3 prongs, all straight. the plug on my dryer, however, has 3 prongs, and one is curved like an elbow, almost to 90 degress.

does anyone know how to solve this? i'm not great with electrical stuff, but i can try to figure out the voltage, etc, and post it here asap.

Despite putting up rabbit netting at considerable cost and having a usless rabbit catching collie dog my Garden is still being eaten by them! Please help as I love my Garden & plants.
