I have Fibromyalgia and am very weak and find cleaning very difficult. I have thought of something that might help so how do I find out if it's already on the market and if not, how do I protect my idea?

Simplest place to start, would be to do an online search for the idea you have in mind... that should turn up any places where you might find your item, or idea being marketed.

If you cannot find it anywhere... then you need to draw up your plans, and write out your idea. Consult a Patent Attorney, and he will do a search of the patent office to see if your item or idea can be pateneted.
