I always use cooking oil then rub like your putting on lotion - paint will roll "right up"

Dawn diah soap will get under the paint and lift it off

Baby oil works well too! just rub it all over.

IF it were me, I'd just put a coat of color primer (in whatever "new color" you want) and then paint the new color over it! Why remove it.

paint thinner,turpentine,sometimes nail polish remover.you can also use gasoline ,but use dish washing liquid after.
