There are plenty of rat poisons available and the county vector control officer/agent will likely give you a supply to use. I used it to eradicate the rats in my attic. I put two bait stations up there and during the night the rats would come out and nibble away on the bait. It took a few weeks and I had to return once to replenish the bait station, because I did not know how many I had. But eventually my attic was quiet again. Oh, one of the rats was pregnant and the young were not affected by the bait. That was why I had to add more bait. Just hope that it is a rat and not a opossum or raccoon!

Great rat trap
A barrel with a rod across the top.
Put can on the rod so they are 3 inch's from the edge of the barrel
Put peanut butter on the cans.
Fill the bottom with about 6 inch's of water.
put a board up to rod side of the barrel so the rats can climb up.

If you store any food in your warehouse you're kinda screwed...
If no - trap it. You can buy a rat trap at a local hardware store.
Rat poison. Or, mix baking flour with cement (the kind that solidified even under water). When rat eats it its guts will solidify. Last two methods will live a stinking rat corpse for you to find.

A large Have-a-heart trap baited with cat food.
You can drown the rat and then drop him out of the trap. That way you can rebait and catch another one. Bail traps - the ones that go WHACK - leave blood and some rats avoid it.
If you see one you probably have a dozen.

Rat trap baited w/ peanut butter or corn candy. They love both!
If you use poison... a cat (or dog) might catch the rat & eat it. When I was a child, my cats were poisoned by a neighbor putting out rat poison. Sinbad hunted for them both when she was pregnant. I found him & found her a week later. She had crawled under the house, had her kittens 2 weeks early as she died. The kittens starved to death.
PLEASE don't use poison if there are any other animals around!
Also, w/ poison... you'll have to hunt the rats down to dispose fo them. They might crawl inside the walls to die & then you have a real poblem!

First, make sure there is no food scrap and paper in the ware house. After that, discreetly place rat poison in a corner. After one or two days, check if the rat is already dead. Remove it immediately, otherwise, I doubt if you'd endure the stink.

Get a large mouse trap. Either that or get a strong rat poison from your nearest grocery store.
