i believe that it is better if you can divide the L into 2 regular shaped rooms than putting a mirror. better yet, you can make a incorporate the lacking part with a garden, or a sun room.

just remember that a remedy with mirrors are usually negative turned neutral, not really into a positive.

Use mirrors to correct the shape of the house and direct the chi in a better manner.

Also be careful of your colors. Get a few books about the art and decoration associated with feng shui, and follow them rather than hiring experts, as some are not so good.

There are many Feng Shui websites to view. Learn the basics of the Bagua. If you can afford to have a Feng Shui Master redesign your home, do it. It is well worth the price. I cannot answer your technical questions intelligently by myself. But I encourage you to seek the correct answers.

Our home and garden were designed by a Black Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui Master. Both the house and property radiate peace, joy, love, and healing. People flock to our house. They always comment on how "at home" and relaxed they feel. They leave feeling refreshed and alive.

All of my husband's simple ailments that are usually associated with age have left. We do not expience the depression, anxiety, strife, competition, ailments, and host of other problems that plague other people.

Forget what angry and uneducated people say about your beliefs. You decide what environment to live in. Foolish people scoff at what they do not understand.

It is better to be at peace, enjoy good health, live happily and in love, and enjoy financial and social prosperity than to live in misery like the first person who answered this question above.

By changing the meaning of the words to the word "function" instead. The person's who use feng shui are follower's of a belief system of a culture. When I incorporated the idea of "funk-shun" (function) as a new substitute for "feng shui" my house improved in its operations right away. It needs a lot more work, but that's my fault, not the "funk-shun". Go with what works for you. If you can't figure that out, hire a professional designer that has examples of work that you like. Good luck!

Eastern mysticism? Lemme guess: You live in San Francisco, you're somewhere between 25 & 37 years old, you like long walks on the beach, but you've never actually taken one, and you prefer your green tea hot and steeped from leaves you cut from your own authentic japanese garden. Think about finding something better to do with your life than focusing on inanity so hard that you start to credit it.

I could only think of 3 ways i.e. camouflage the missing corner with a plant or trees (to block of negative chi), reconstruct the shape of your house or move to another house with square or retangle shape. Don't worry, you won't die with L-Shape homes.
