OK, never done this, I'm trying to cut down on our huuge heating bill. This house we're in is older, and not built very well. So, were' trying to insulate as much as possible.

The attic has insulation but it's really old, and the inspector said it was rated to some number that wasn't nearly enough. So when I get new insulation, should I get the fiberglass rolls, then just roll it right over top of the old stuff? OR, should I rip the old stuff out??

And whats the best way to insulate the walls? Can I do this by shooting some of that loose stuff down the walls from the attic?

Thanks, I'm totally clueless..

Due to poor planning, the previous owners vented a dryer into a garage instead of the outdoors. (We have since corrected this problem and it vents outside now.) The ensuing moisture and condensation caused the paint to come away from the drywall on the garage ceiling. I have scraped the loose paint off and am down to bare drywall. Is there anything special I need to apply to the drywall before I paint?

The fridge I'm looking at is a Roper #RT21AK. I've tried every combination of words for a search and can't find any reviews that don't cost me anything. Does anyone have this kind of fridge?

Bought this washer on 7/15/2001 - with no extended warranty.
Model: MAV6000AWW

While the washer was running, I opened the lid to add one of my left out cloth to it. Since then the washer has stopped working.

Checked the lid connection. It seems to be ok.

Not sure where the problem is. Any suggestions will be welcome!

I've read on a site that you could fill up those 5 gallon air tanks with those cheapie emergency tire inflators to about 42 psi just before the inflator starts to smell like smoke. I need to fill it close to the maximum psi level which is 135. What is the cheapest and easiest way to accomplish this? Can I do this at the air machine at the gas station? Thank you for your answers!!

I'm trying to decide on the viability of a new home purchase. I think the roof has serious damage and will need complete replacement , soffits, eaves, gutters, etc.; and the entire house will need siding.

We have bees in our bedroom walls. How do we get to them to kill them? We can see where they go in under the roof on the outside of the house - oh, mobile home. Do we have to drill a hole in the wall or what? Any other ideas?

We have a cental ac unit that is on a concrete pad outside the house. I live in NE Florida and right now the unit runs pretty much all the time. I noticed alot of standing water accumulating around the unit, I would think some water would be normal but not this much.

I need to set up some indoor grow lights for my plants, they need a bit more light than they're getting and I can't keep em outside (they're desert plants and I live in the north of england!)

Could anyone tell me what I need to set something up as cheap as possible. I know I could get a set up one for 60-100 quid but I don't really have that much money to spend, is there a cheaper alternative?

Links to where to buy would be cool too

Thanks!

I usually wash between every wearing because I like to wear my Wranglers very very tight. But others will go several times between washing.

It's all anonymous here so nobody will know if you go several times.
