I have numerous cracks in the pavement in my driveway, some of them 2-3 inches wide and many feet long. Whats the best way to fill the cracks without hiring a professional?

I'm assuming you are asking about an asphaltic concrete driveway. There is patch mix available at hardware stores. Clean out the cracks, and pack the mix into the cracks. Then mix "silica sand " into your driveway sealer to thicken the mix and coat the entire driveway.

If you have a concrete driveway with cracks like this you can not patch this, you'll need to replace it. There is not permanent "patch" for concrete slabs, that will hold in cracks that size.

If the cracks are not big. You can just use regular cement from Home Depot or Lowes. Mix it up and pour into the cracks and spread like peanut butter to smooth and flush. If the cracks are too big and not level, you might want to square out areas and use concrete mix and fill-in to fit and smooth
