Yes, I have a 12 degree pitch to my garage so I installed tin. It looks nice and has not leaked. (Of course, I only installed it a year ago, but I think with the rain we've had this summer, it would have leaked it there was an issue.)

that is about a 4/12 pitch roof....any roofing material will work....shingles r warranted at no less than 3/12 pitch.......and yes ur choice will work...

YES! That is an excellent choice for the roof you have described. It will hold up for many years.
